Canadian visitors to Las Vegas have a new reason to pack their bags: Circa Las Vegas is now treating Canadian dollars as equal to U.S. dollars in a limited-time promotion. The move aims to entice international guests amid a dip in tourism caused by rising travel costs, geopolitical concerns, and U.S. economic policies.
How the “At Par” Promotion Works
The promotion applies at three Circa properties:
-
Circa Resort & Casino
-
The D Las Vegas
-
Golden Gate Hotel & Casino
Canadian visitors simply pay 1 CAD as if it were $1 USD, giving a 25–30% discount on hotel stays, select bar drinks, and slot play. To participate, guests must show valid Canadian ID and be 21 or older.
Slots At Par
At Club One locations in the three participating properties, Canadians can convert up to 500 CAD into promotional slot credit at the at-par rate. The voucher is single-use, applies to one slot game, and expires 72 hours after issuance, with a same-day cutoff of 11:59 PM once the game is chosen. Some machines, including wide-area progressive slots and video poker at Golden Gate, are excluded.
Hotel Stays At Par
Guests can book rooms online or via phone at 833-247-2258. The at-par rate is applied at check-in and cannot be combined with other discounts, but there is no limit on eligible stays.
Beverages At Par
Three bars participate:
-

-

Why It Matters
Circa’s “At Par” promotion highlights a broader trend in Las Vegas tourism marketing, as casinos target international visitors with creative incentives to counter travel headwinds. By letting Canadians spend their dollars as if they were U.S. currency, Circa hopes to make Vegas more appealing and boost visits from a key neighboring market.
